The client is a premium fashion house operating for more than 20 years with a base in Mumbai, India. Its clientele is spread across India, US, UK, Australia, and the MENA region.

Challenges

  • Reduced organic reach due to the presence of bots on the social media account: At the initial evaluation of the fashion house’s social media account, it was observed that more than 50% of the followers were fake or bots, which was hindering the page’s organic reach.
  • Conflicting brand alignment with the positioning: There was a variance in the brand’s desired positioning and the brand’s actual market positioning. There was a strong belief that adhering to a specific design standard was necessary to show the brand as high-end.

Approach and Execution

  • Strategic bot removal and basic hygiene: We followed a well-planned bot removal approach based on a result-oriented bot removal strategy developed via particular research and planning. This research-backed method produced results within a month, with the page's reach and engagement rate increasing by 900% during the first month of takeover. We also maintained account hygiene, which resulted in a progressive decline in the number of phoney followers on the social media account.
  • Optimising the design language to match the brand positioning: We identified the need for a design language modification to elevate the quality of the page and align the brand positioning to the ideal positioning as requested by the fashion house.The entire layout of the social media page was restructured and we adopted the grid format of design to cater the needs of the brand’s online presence and aligning its positioning.

Results:

  • - Since we implemented strategic changes, it has resulted in a substantial increase in visibility and organic reach. It also demonstrated the efficacy of initiatives in broadening the brand's online engagement, resulting in increased inquiries, follower retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • - There was an increase in the social media reach by more than 200% and the overall online visibility of the brand.
